Time to Fall Back! Remember to turn your clocks back 1 hour on Saturday night, October 31st. In case you don’t know how to change the clock in your GM vehicle, here are a few instructions. Single CD (MP3) Player
- Turn the ignition key to ACC/ACCESSORY or ON/RUN.
- Turn the radio on. Press 1.
- Press 2 until the hour begins flashing on the display.
- Turn 3 to increase or decrease the hour.
- Press 2 again until the minutes begin flashing on the display.
- Turn 3 to increase or decrease the minutes.
- Press 2 again until the clock display stops flashing to set the current display time. Otherwise, the flashing stops after 5 seconds and the current time displayed is automatically set.
To change the time default setting for 12-hour to 24-hour, press 2 and then the push button located below the forward arrow tab. Once the time 12H and 24H are displayed, press the push button located below the desired option to select the default. Press 2 again to apply the selected default or let the screen time out.

Six-Disc CD (MP3) Player
This type of radio has a MENU button instead of the clock button to set the time and date.
- Turn the radio on. Press 1.
- Press 2 the MENU button.
- Press 3 which is the button under the clock display.
- To increase the time or date:
- Press the push button below the appropriate tab.
- Turn the 5 knob clockwise.
- To decrease the time or date:
- Press the push button below the appropriate tab.
- Turn the 5 knob counter-clockwise.
Radio with Radio Data Systems (RDS)
- Turn the radio on. Press 1.
- Press 2 (H 2 or HR) and hold until the correct hour displays.
- Press 3 (M 3 or MN) and hold until the correct minute displays.
- Time can be set with the ignition on or off.
- To synchronize the time with an FM station broadcasting Radio Data System (RDS) information, press and hold the hour (2) and minute (3) buttons at the same time until RDS TIME displays.
- To accept this time, press and hold the hour (2) and minute (3) buttons at the same time for another two seconds.
- RDS time is broadcast once a minute. After turning to an RDS broadcast station, it could take a few minutes for the time to update.
- If the time is not available for the station, NO UPDAT (update) displays.
Radio without Radio Data Systems (RDS)
- Turn the radio on. Press 1.
- Press 2 (HR) and hold until the correct hour displays.
- Press 3 (MIN) and hold until the correct minute displays.
- There is an initial two-second delay before the clock goes into time-set mode.
- Display the time with the ignition off by pressing RCL, HR, or MIN.
